Incorporated on 14th March 2024, AlMassira Paper Mills Company is at the forefront of Morocco’s transition toward sustainable packaging solutions. With the global rise of e-commerce, retail, and food industries, demand for packaging paper has surged. At the same time, consumers and businesses are increasingly prioritizing eco-friendly alternatives. We are meeting this demand through innovation, sustainability, and responsibility. Our facility is designed to transform 100% recycled wastepaper into high-quality packaging boards, replacing conventional, tree pulp-based paper production. By integrating renewable energy sources and energy-efficient technologies, AlMassira delivers superior products while reducing its carbon footprint. Beyond manufacturing, we actively invest in awareness programs, training, and knowledge-sharing initiatives—empowering businesses, communities, and government agencies to adopt sustainable practices. With an investment of more than USD 50 million, AlMassira is not just building a paper mill—it is laying the foundation for Morocco’s green industrial transformation. Our plant, located at 34°18'20.7"N 6°22'07.9"W in the Free Industrial Zone, Kenitra, has an annual production capacity of 120,000 TPA, producing Test Liner Board and Fluting Board from 100% recycled fiber. Powered by renewable energy and energy-efficient processes, the facility is a model of circular economy principles in action. Our ambition extends beyond manufacturing: we are building a green ecosystem, setting new benchmarks for sustainability in Morocco and across the global packaging industry.

Mr. Abdullah AlMoammar
Mr. Abdullah Almoammar is the founder and Chairman of Middle East Paper Company (MEPCO), one of the largest paperboard producers in MENA, with over SR 900 million in annual sales. He co-founded Arabian Maize Company (AMC), investing more than SR 400 million in corn starch production. Abdullah has also established a bio-gas plant in India and has investments in the UK, Italy, and Algeria. He holds an MBA from KFUPM and a BSc in Industrial Engineering from King Saud University. His early career included senior roles at Saudi Paper Manufacturing Company. Abdullah’s leadership has driven MEPCO’s growth and AMC’s success, aligning with global sustainability goals.
Mr. Faisal AlMoammar
His Excellency Faisal Bin Muammar is a Saudi investor with decades of leadership in education, culture, and dialogue. He founded and served as Secretary General of KAICIID in Vienna and the King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue in Riyadh. Faisal has been Supervisor General of Salam for Cultural Communication and King Abdulaziz Public Library. He advised the Saudi leadership, including the Crown Prince and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. In education, he was Vice Minister of Education (2009–2011). He also chairs Tarbiyah and Downe House Schools in Riyadh, and oversees family businesses in education, recycling, and sustainable industries.
Mr. Sami AlSafran
Mr. Sami Al Safran is the Chief Executive Officer of Middle East Paper Company (MEPCO), where he has delivered exceptional growth, driving a 700% increase in sales over the past 15 years. With more than two decades of expertise in the pulp and paper industry, he successfully led MEPCO’s public listing on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) in 2015. Under his leadership, the company has achieved greater operational efficiency through the implementation of streamlined strategies and innovative practices. Beyond MEPCO, Mr. Al Safran serves as Vice Chairman of the Higher Institute for Paper and Industrial Technologies (HIPIT), where he supports the training and development of young Saudi talent in line with Vision 2030. His contributions to sustainability and social responsibility earned him recognition as a ‘CSR Ambassador’ by the King Khalid Foundation. He has also been shortlisted multiple times for the prestigious PPI “Global CEO of the Year” award. Mr. Al Safran holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals.
Dr. Faisal Albattah
Dr. Faisal Albattah is a seasoned healthcare executive with more than two decades of leadership experience in hospital management and organizational transformation in Saudi Arabia. He currently serves as Senior General Manager at the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, where he contributes to large-scale healthcare and urban development initiatives. Previously, he held CEO positions at leading institutions such as Aldara Hospital, GNP Hospitals, Al-Mishari Hospital, and Nabd Medical Holding. Dr. Albattah holds a Ph.D. in Health Science Management, equipping him with a strong blend of operational expertise and policy insight. He has demonstrated success in strategic planning, performance improvement, and crisis management across complex organizations. Known for his ability to align stakeholders around shared goals, he has driven measurable improvements in service quality and efficiency. As an investor, he brings deep sector knowledge, financial discipline, and a results-driven approach. His career reflects a commitment to sustainable, large-scale healthcare and infrastructure ventures that support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
Mr. Sultan AlMoammar
Mr. Sultan AlMoammar is a visionary business leader and strategic investor with a strong track record of building and scaling ventures across construction, hotel management, facility management, design and architecture, infrastructure, finance, real estate, education and waste to energy sectors. He is the Founder & CEO of Saudi Elaf Company and holds executive roles at Banan Aloula, NAD Co., Muhaidib Building Technology and several other firms. He is a Board Member in Energim India Private Limited, Al Manar Al-Tarbiyah Co. and Arabian Maize Company. With expertise in mission planning, operational growth and re-engineering, Mr. AlMoammar brings pragmatic leadership and global business insight, financial stewardship, and a results-driven mindset to enable long-term, sustainable industrial success.
Mr. Mashary M. AlShaman
Mr. Mashary M. AlShaman is a dynamic investment professional and strategic leader with extensive expertise in private equity, real estate, and alternative investments. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Maysan Business Investment Company, a prominent Saudi family office specializing in long-term, diversified investments. In addition to his leadership role at Maysan, he serves on the boards of Alandalus Real Estate Company, Sehati for Information Technology Services, and Miyar Capital. A Sloan Fellow from Stanford University, Mr. AlShaman combines a world-class education with practical investment experience across multiple sectors. He is recognized for his global outlook, strong financial acumen, and disciplined governance approach. His work emphasizes sustainable value creation, strategic diversification, and responsible capital deployment. Mr. Khalid Al Sultan
Mr. Khalid AlSultan is an accomplished leader in the infrastructure and transport sector, with more than a decade of experience in railway development, project management, and civil engineering. He currently serves as the Deputy for Railway Transport at the Transport General Authority (TGA), where he oversees the implementation of Saudi Arabia’s National Railway Strategy, a cornerstone of the Kingdom’s transport transformation. Prior to this role, he held senior leadership positions at the Saudi Railway Company (SAR), managing and delivering multi-billion-riyal infrastructure projects across the country. Educated at the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Southern California, he brings strong technical knowledge combined with strategic foresight. Mr. AlSultan is recognized for his ability to align regulatory frameworks with large-scale development goals. As an investor, he contributes expertise in project execution, stakeholder collaboration, and sustainable infrastructure development. His career reflects a commitment to advancing Saudi Arabia’s transport sector in line with Vision 2030.
Dr. Yasser Ameen
Dr. Yasser Amen is a distinguished engineering and legal expert with more than 25 years of leadership experience in construction, project management, and contract law. He currently serves as the General Manager of UBC in Saudi Arabia, where he directs large-scale infrastructure and engineering projects with a focus on quality and sustainability. Dr. Amen holds dual academic qualifications in Civil Engineering and Islamic Law from Cairo University and Al-Azhar University, giving him a rare blend of technical expertise and legal insight. His professional career spans tender implementation, heritage site restoration, and quality management across complex projects. He is widely respected for bridging the gap between engineering execution and legal compliance. As an investor, Dr. Amen provides strategic oversight, regulatory guidance, and strong governance.
